What Is Our Desire?

“Whatever my eyes looked at with desire I did not refuse them. I did not withhold from my heart any pleasure, for my heart was pleased because of all my labor; and this was my reward for all my labor.”

‭‭ECCLESIASTES‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This is the way many live in this society today, and we all need to take care we are not caught up in this mindset. Many in the younger generation always seem to desire the things the previous generation has, but they desire all these things so much earlier in life, without having worked for them. Credit card sales go way up, as many attempt to buy satisfaction in life. Satisfaction and happiness cannot be bought. Once the excitement of the purchase wears off, many start to check out what the next “needed” item is to make them feel complete.

The only way to feel complete, and experience Joy and Happiness, Fulfillment in life, is to surrender our life to Jesus Christ.

Once we admit we are sinners, repent and ask forgiveness of our sins from Jesus Christ, we experience a release of the burdens we were carrying. Then we need to learn more of Jesus by reading the New Testament for starters, in the Bible, attending a Bible Believing, Bible teaching church, and have fellowship with other Christ followers.

Once we start growing closer to Jesus, we need to start seeking what He would have us do to serve Him. There are a variety of ways, and Church Leadership where you are in attendance will assist.

Jesus also will fill us with His Holy Spirit when asked, and Holy Spirit has Spiritual gifts for each believer so we may serve Jesus fully, and our Heavenly Father will receive Glory.

For any who have not taken these steps, Jesus is calling you to Himself, even now. He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Please call out to Jesus Christ the Messiah, King of kings, and Lord of lords, and discover His wondrous plans for your life.

God Bless.
