Doing What Is Right In God’s Eyes, Even When The Majority Disagree

Daniel 3:16-18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

When we know the right answer from the wrong, we need to give the right answer immediately. If we delay, postpone, and take time to ponder the decision, or how to answer, we are giving the enemy an opportunity to work on our mind, attempting to make us compromise our beliefs and our life.
Even if in our delay, we say we are going to pray about our answer, when we already know what we should be doing, we are giving the enemy time to play in our minds.

God’s Word is Truth, and God and His Word never change.

If we remember the New Testament: Jesus Christ is “The Word”, Jesus Christ is “God”.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”         ‭‭John‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”      ‭‭John‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭ESV‬‬
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered immediately, telling the king they would not bow to his idol, and their lives were in God’s hands.
We need to do likewise.

Trusting our God in all ways, obeying His Word and His leading, pleases God, and gives us a joyful satisfying life.
