Revelation 1:4-7“John to the seven churches that are in Asia:
Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.”
What a glorious day that will be, when Jesus Christ, the KING of all kings, the LORD of all lords, descends in the clouds and draws all those who have accepted Him as Saviour and Lord; all those from the Old Testament years who worshipped and served Jehovah, looking forward to the coming of Messiah, Jesus, the Christ.
But, it will not be a glorious day for everyone, I am extremely sad to say. Scripture says that even those who rejected Jesus, those who beat and pierced Him, those who ridiculed and mocked Him, those who turned their back to Him, those who ignored Him, every eye will see Jesus Christ return. Scripture also declares that every knee will bow before Him at that time, and every tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.
At that time it will not matter what those who previously scorned, ridiculed, denied, refused to accept Jesus say or do. It is too late, too late to make the choice to follow Jesus, the Day of Salvation has passed.
If anyone is reading this who does not know absolutely, positively, with no doubt, that you have repented of sin, and accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour, it is not too late right now. But don’t put it off, don’t delay any longer.
Tell Jesus Christ you are sorry for sinning, ask His forgiveness, and to help you live His way. He always answers that prayer immediately. Seek a Bible believing, Christ preaching church to attend, and go, and choose to grow in Christ.
If Jesus Christ returned today, or tomorrow, which group would you be in? Your choice!
