A Purpose in Prayer

1 Kings 8:59-60“Let these words of mine, with which I have pleaded before the Lord, be near to the Lord our God day and night, and may he maintain the cause of his servant and the cause of his people Israel, as each day requires, that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no other.”

1 Kings 8:43
“hear in heaven your dwelling place and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to you, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your people Israel, and that they may know that this house that I have built is called by your name.”
While again reading through this prayer of King Solomon in 1 Kings, it re-emphasizes the importance of many aspects of prayer life, prayers, pleading, repentance, repentance for others to name a few.
As we see clearly, it is God’s plan, wish, and desire that all peoples on earth will know God.

These words were written many years ago, inspired by the Spirit of God, and since we know that God does not change, God does not lie, God’s Word is Truth and still His desire today for all people to come to know Him.
Our life, our prayers, are to have the purpose of people knowing God, knowing His Son Jesus Christ as Saviour. God’s Blessings.
