God’s Truth In Love

(This is a letter I sent to a retired co-worker many years ago, and recently thought these truths should again be made available to others now.)

When we are born into this world, according to the Bible, we are all born with a sin

nature and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23).

All things in life have a price, and sin is no different, and again according to the Bible,
the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23).

God loves us so much that He gave His only Son as a sacrifice for our sin to demonstrate
His love for us (Romans 5:8).

God’s love is so great for each of us that whoever believes in His Son Jesus Christ and
asks Jesus into his/her life will spend eternity with God in Heaven rather than being

separated from God throughout all eternity in hell (John 3:16).

There is nothing we can do to earn eternal life, or to deserve it. Eternal life is a gift from
God that is received from Him only by faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Jesus Christ said when He was on earth that He came to give all who call on Him an
abundant life, by which He meant full and meaningful (John 10:10).
