Vision Deferred Then Hope Springs

Proverbs 13:12
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick
But a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”

I am not sure yet as to why this verse has stuck out, but I know there will be a reason.

Perhaps it is referring to people on the street, or suffering, who are giving up all hope and they are becoming heart broken, sick in their spirit and feeling dejected.
Once they see a glimmer of hope, it is like new life being put within them and they see possibilities and potential.

Perhaps this verse can be referring to each of us who have a dream or vision that appears to be put on hold. Perhaps it appears that this dream or vision will never come to pass.
When a person has a hope, dream or vision that has been held onto, and nothing appears to be happening, the spirit of the person begins to weaken, and despair sets in the heart, and it is possible for depression to grab hold.

When a person feels that a dream or hope has to be set aside, a tearing can happen within that person which will make one physically sick.

When there is a hope or dream that has been held onto for a period of time, and the fulfillment comes, or even a few steps along the road to fulfillment, it is as if God is breathing new life into the person. Rejuvenation sets in, a youthfulness returns in spirit and mind.
When God breathes new life into a person, that life spreads through to others and fruit grows on the vine and is seen by others and the Fruit of the Spirit is ripened and given to others.
As others partake of the Fruit, Strength is gained and more lives are touched.
