This week started without too much activity. FB had the appointment for his leg dressing to be changed, and following that we headed for a coffee and bagel as usual. These are always opportunities to sit, chat a bit about a number of things, laugh about things.

JB apparently did well on Sunday sharing her experience from last Wednesday when she came to the place where she finally realized that God loves her and has a plan for her life. A few people made favourable, encouraging comments to her. I was sorry I was unable to be there to hear, but we were out with another young lady, EM, whose Father passed away in the fall, and she is still in the grieving process. It is more difficult because she is from Uganda, and all family members except herself and one brother are still there. One brother is in Canada also, but western Canada, thousands of miles from EM.
JB continues to suffer anxiety and panic attacks, so one bit of good (?) news regarding JB is that her Doctor did get an appointment with a psychiatrist for her in the not too distant future.

After missing last week, RP and I were able to get together for lunch on Tuesday. He has had a few rough days recently, namely being overtaken by anger one night for no known reason and being against everyone. Finally he got back with his friends, and shortly after had a seizure of 12-15 minute duration where he stopped breathing temporarily and EMS was called.
Again, one bit of good (?) news for RP is that his Doctor has booked an appointment with a psychiatrist in the near future. Within the next couple of months RP will again see a neurologist. RP believes he is probably bi-polar, as well as having multiple personalities, along with epilepsy. One of the main things to bother him is the voices he hears in his mind giving him different instructions on how to act.

As we quite often attempt to discuss, RP could not think of any positive or highlights in his life for the last while. No question on the negative aspects needed to be asked as he shared of the night with the major seizure.

It sure is appreciated if anyone who believes, chooses to pray for these friends. God’s Blessings.
