WALKING IN OBEDIENCE

WALKING IN OBEDIENCE
Ezekiel 2:7 You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious.

Obedience to Jesus is the foundation for living a Christian life, once we have accepted Jesus as Saviour.

There are times in life when the impatience of the world may attempt to take over our thought process and actions, but that is not the way of the Lord. At times it may be thought that sharing the Word “again” to the same person is a waste of time, but that is not the thought of God.

There are people who have heard of the Love, and have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ many times, but continue to reject Jesus and live their own way. In the words of God, we are to speak His Word to them, whether they hear or refuse, because they are rebellious.

Sometimes it may be frustrating when the love of Jesus is shared with a person in many ways, and they continue to refuse to accept His Love and Grace. The Love of Jesus needs to continue to flow through His people to each person that is met. It is the Holy Spirit Who gives the opportunities, and sets the Divine appointments to share the Gospel, so we cannot refuse His leading, and still be obedient to Jesus.

Every time the Word is shared, the person who hears has a bit more within his / her spirit and mind for the Holy Spirit to use to break down barriers and walls of rebellion.
Some people have been hardened throughout life, and it takes many times of hearing the Gospel of Jesus to get through to them and soften them, but each time is a step in preparation.

Some are running from the Lord, and although they know the truth, they are living in denial and not ready to accept it. These people may act like they are refusing to hear, but they are hearing everything that is said, and it is entering their mind. That is where I fit in for a number of years, so I know the benefits of someone continuing to speak of the Love of Jesus and His Grace, and that He is the God of 2nd chances.

Each time the Truth of Jesus is shared with a person, it may bring that person one step closer to accepting Jesus, and we will have had a part in the salvation by being obedient to Jesus and following the leading of His Spirit.

Walking in obedience to Jesus, and sharing His Love and His Word with each person who He prepares for us to meet, is the greatest blessing anyone can receive.

Lots of wisdom in your words. I once spent a year pondering what the word, “Surrender,” meant in my spiritual life. I learned a lot that year. Thanks for visiting me. Good luck with your new blog. There are so many people searching these days. All of us need to be a point of light, for sure. Hugs, pat
